Vieskan Elementti Oy is a wooden element manufacturer from Alavieska that has been building the future since 1968. The company is known for its high-quality construction and its active community spirit. The long-standing operator adopted the domestic Piiri application for internal communication, which brings people working on different construction sites together.
Before the Piiri application was implemented, internal communication at Vieska Element was fragmented. Information was passed around via emails, bulletin boards, and verbal messages – sometimes reaching the target, sometimes not.
“Installers were often left out of the information flow because they are always physically somewhere else than us in the office. There was a clear need for a solution that would reach all personnel regardless of time and place,” says Finance and Human Resources Manager Iida Pahkamaa.

“I was surprised how quickly the app was implemented – without any resistance. We went through the download and login process together with a few people, but after that, use has been smooth.”
The weekly Friday bulletin, which briefly shares news about sales, production, installations, and management reviews, has received a lot of praise.
